This year’s competition looks set to be the biggest so far, as dozens of wannabe winners roll up to do battle for the title of Miss Bum Bum, but the 2017 edition of the contest features a lot of sweeping changes according to the rules. Bums bigger than 107.0cm are banned for this year which has caused outrage among some fans, besides the rule changes, the quality of competition still remain the same. Among the contestants are some high profile models. Gilliane Bonheur, 24 years old, hit headlines after removing her silicone bum implants so she doesn’t have an “unfair challenge” in the competition. Another girl Rangel Carlos hit the headlines by revealing that she was at the same time in a relationship with both a man and a woman and the three are raising a child together. Playboy girl Jeni Summers will be in the history as the first American to compete in the Miss BumBum competition this year
Last year it was Erika Canela, who was crowned winner after the contest. Erika, who has a 42inch bottom, took home a £18,000 prize and a modelling contract.
