Spencer Matthews, 28 years old is engaged to model girlfriend Vogue Williams, 32 years d after 11 months together. The former Made In Chelsea star announced the news on Thursday after he proposing after a performance of The Lion King at London’s Lyceum Theatre on Tuesday.Spencer’s older brother James married Pippa Middleton  the sister of The Duchess of Cambridge last year but Vogue was not among the guests.Speaking after the special moment, Spencer, 28 years old told ‘I’ve known Vogue was “The One” for a long time. We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.’‘The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit.’The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!’A spokesperson for Spencer and Vogue, 32 years old told ‘The couple are absolutely over the moon and thrilled to share their exciting news.’

The couple began dating in February 2017 after meeting on winter sports show The Jump.Sparks flew when Vogue was forced to pull out of  ski slopes early because of an injured knee with Spencer winning her affections when he showed his nurturing side as he looked after her following her injury. The cosy pair shared pictures from their getaway to Disneyland Paris before they went public with their affections for one another in March. It was a true whirlwind romance, with couple moving in together after seven months of dating.Reports had claimed she had moved into Spencer’s home in Chelsea, but Vogue insisted that hadn’t been the case during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women at the beginning of October. She told the panel: ‘We moved in together last night. He arrived home at four in the morning from Greece and forced me to get up to have a glass of champagne to toast the new house. He didn’t want me to move in to his house.‘He lives in a one-bed in Chelsea and I have a lot of clothes so that was never going to work. And I lived with two Irish boys so I think we’ve always wanted to have our own place so that’s what we started looking at straight away.’They haven’t been shy about flaunting their love for each other, with Spencer gushing on social media, ‘never been happier in my life’ while she reciprocated, ‘at my happiest with this boy by my side.’Vogue revealed the secret to success with their relationship is that they never argue in a recent interview with The Sunday Mirror. She told ‘He is my best pal. I remember thinking we would be best friends forever. It is the first relationship where I don’t have fights with people.’Speaking of their romance, Vogue admitted she and her family ‘fell in love’ with Spencer straight away after meeting. Not fazed by his previous reputation as a lothario, thanks to his womanising ways on Made In Chelsea, the starlet added that she finds it ‘cringe-worthy’ when people suggest she has now ‘tamed’ him.Vogue added ‘My mum loved him… even my step-dad, who would’ve been the tougher one to crack, fell in love with Spencer and we get on really well with one another’s family.’He is very charming. I think when Spencer was on Made in Chelsea he was 21. As a 21 years old boy, he was doing what a lot of 21 years old boys wanted to do.‘He didn’t want to be in a serious relationship for too long. I haven’t tamed him in anyway which I keep reading about, it makes me cringe because I haven’t done anything he was just like that when I met him.’

Vogue was previously married to former Westlife singer Brian McFadden from 2012 to 2015.Speaking shortly after they announced their separation, the then 30 years old said she feared her hopes of a happy ending and starting a family had been dashed after the split. She told  ‘My head’s all over the place. I feel like I don’t have a goal. Everything that I wanted is sort of gone.‘ I wanted to be married and I wanted to have kids for so long and now that’s sort of gone, and I’m like, ‘What do I do now?’’I’m trying to figure out where I’m going with my life and that causes a lot of anxiety.’
