Jorge Jove was arrested on Wednesday after he opened fire on two AT&T trucks parked outside his Hialeah, Fla, home. Cellphone video shot during the rampage shows the 64 years old shooting out the trucks tires and engine. After finishing with first truck, he walks to the second and begins shooting at the front of it. At the time, an AT&T worker was in bucket lift attacked to the truck. In an email, Hialeah Police Detective Carl Zogby told the Miami Herald that Jove “was upset trucks were parked in front of his driveway.” A bystander, later identified by newspaper as AT&T technician Derrick Taylor, can be heard calling police as Jove shoots at trucks, stopping periodically to reload his Ruger 357 revolver. “He’s shooting the truck right now. There’s a guy shooting the tires and shooting the engines and everything” Taylor said. According to an affidavit, obtained by the Miami Herald, Jove does not have a concealed weapons permit. Police responding to call seized his gun. No one was injured in shooting, though an officer responding to incident reported that Jove fired shots at the technician in the bucket lift. He missed, according to eyewitness who was not identified further. Jove denied that allegation to police an ABC affiliate station. The former Miami-Dade firefighter was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and felony vandalism. The outlet reported Jove was released from jail on Thursday after posting $30’000 bond.
