Her relationship with Prince Harry thrust her into spotlight, but these days Chelsy Davy is making a name for herself in design world. The 31 years old Zimbabwean blonde turned her back on law to launch her own ethical jewellery line, named Aya and inspired by her love for her home continent. But having swapped one stressful career, at prestigious firm Allen & Overy, for t equally hectic life of an entrepreneur, Chelsy was sure to clear space in her diary for a summer break.
Designer is in Saint Tropez in France with a group of girlfriends, where she was snapped on Monday taking a cooling dip in a bright orange bikini. Chelsy has been sharing snaps of her trip on her Instagram account, including candid shots from a party hosted by Baar and Bass, chic Chelsea boutique founded by her fellow entrepreneur Maddie Chesterton.
Mistamina founder Lady Melissa Percy also posed for holiday snap with Chelsy.
Far from simply putting well-known name to her jewellery range, the South African blonde studied gemology before launching Aya, which uses ethically sourced gemstones and pure 18 carat gold.
Chelsy appeared to be modelling one of her own pieces on her sunshine break. Necklace she was wearing looks remarkably similar to Aya’s Nyami Nyami necklace, which starts at £1’540.
