Family members of a Georgia woman who authorities suspect was fatally shot by her boyfriend said she was pregnant at time of her death. Faith Bittinger 23 years old was found dead from a single gunshot wound to the chest at a College Park apartment she shared with her boyfriend, Reginald Jones. He was arrested Sunday morning, just hours after the body was discovered and confessed to the shooting, police said. “He stated it was an accident, but detectives are following up on additional leads that may have bearing on this,” College Park Lt. Nathan Ward said. Jones, who is facing murder and possession of firearm by a convicted felon charges, waived his first appearance before a judge and is currently being held at Fulton County Jail. Bittinger’s family said the couple, who already shared an infant daughter together, had a “rocky” relationship.“As soon as they started dating, he seemed okay, but I had a feeling about him” her stepsister, Olivia Martin said. Her family created a GoFundMe page to raise money for funeral services. Jones’ next court appearance is set for Jul 24 in Fulton County court.
